Warm Season's Greetings from Chris the Guide! This card shows a detail of the Madonna of the Quail painted by Pisanello in 1420.The
panel, of great importance as it is the earliest painting generally
attributed to the artist, has been stolen from the Castelvecchio Museum
in Verona on November 19th 2015 together with another 16 art works.I
would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2016, with no more
sad art thefts and as many art finds and rescues as possible.
